I’ve recently realized that I and so many of you, overuse the word need. I am talking about how I see the difference in these two words.
Each of us molds ourselves into the different situations that we are in, some of us more than others. I am definitely one of those people and I recently realized how bad it is. I am challenging myself to unite all the different piece of my personality into one whole me.
I know you hear a lot about me time from life coaches and influencers all of the time, but hear me out. I thought I was doing me time right, until I realized that the me time that is typically recommended by others, isn’t all that I needed.
Have you ever thought “I need to be one of the guys to get to where I want to go”? I have and I talk about how I’m changing that mentality to embrace being myself and the woman that I am.
What does “do what it takes” mean to you? I’m doing what it takes to maintain output from my team, which means I made adjustments to my life to make it happen. Are you doing what it takes?
Change is inevitable, whether we embrace it is not. I am choosing to change and evolve and it means that I might be changing away from people that I’ve been close with. Sometimes this change is exactly what we need to move to the next level.
Are you holding yourself back or are you blazing trails? Some of us hold ourselves back because we never thought we could get to where we are or any further. I am one of those people and I am working through this fear…..little by little.
You’ve got to find balance in all that you do! Ha, balance is a myth that somebody came up with. Balance is not something I think any of us should be striving for.
Do you treat others better than yourself? I talk about how I am learning to treat myself as good as I treat others.
Why is life so difficult? Why can’t we just get a break? There are things about life that we cannot help, but there are so many that we can. I’ll tell you how I am working to overcome my mindset about the difficulties in life.
